What would you highlight about Palais Batha

Excellent

Great service! Good breakfast, nice looking place in general! 3 minutes walk from Medina entrance.

Our room door was stuck and hard to open. It was cold and moist in the room, but it might be due to the fact that we were thre in the end of november.

Bad staff and great location!

Only one staff member was good and helpfull and did all the work both day and night..he helped with our lugguage, served breakfast, cheked us out in the middle of the night-so 5+ to that guy! Location of the riad is great and few steps from medina. Riad had great rooftoop terace with nice view.

We had hard time finding the riad, there was no street sign for it nor sign on the building. When we finaly found it the guy inside didn't know how to speak english. Few guys changed within few minutes struglling with english. Finaly they said that we can park our cars outside on the street or in the underground parking lot which each cost 20mad per day. We opted for let's say safer option for the car in the underground one which turned up to be overcrowded and the next day we had to pay 30mad instead. We were greeted with some welcome tea, followed by check-in and payment for our 4 night stay. Upon reservation we agreed that we will pay with credit card. But when we have arrived guy said that we can also pay with cash, we persisted with paying with card as agreed earlier and then he said that he has no power for the POS. Our friend got revolted by this act, stood up all red and mad..by this time riad guy said ok and suddenly POS machine was working. In the upper room Tulipe there was hard smell of dampness, in Belle de nuit there was hardly any water coming out on the washbasin so we had to wash our hands in the shower.

problematic but if you adjust and lower your standards and expectations it can be an enjoyable stay

The staff were very helpful.

There was no record of our reservation even though Id booked online, spoken to the owner and exchanged emails with the owner. The transfer from the airport never arrived as promised by the owner which at 1:00 am arrival and travelling with a disabled person wasnt ideal. There were no disabled facilities as promised by the owner which made it very difficult for my disabled mother. I felt the food was very overpriced and below average. The TV didn't work. Lights in the room were broken. The hair dryer I was given set alight in my hand. Bottled water cost a fortune!!

Awesome

Spacious room, great location, easy to find and near to everything. Helpful staff. Liked the facility, spacious and clean toilet, bathtub, no problems with hot water at all like in other riads.

Only problem we faced, is that house keeping wouldn’t come to clean room until we asked few times in reception (our stay was 3 days). And eventually the housekeeping by mistake throw out my lenses and box for lenses, and they didn’t replace it with new one which actually suppose to be done from their side. but overall everything was good, riad is nice.

Very good beautiful courtyard house and good value for money.

The staff are very helpful and friendly especially the elder lady housekeeper cum manageress.

Very hard to locate the "hotel". It is not sign-posted, and the google map gives the wrong position by 400m, on a different alley.

Exceptional

Great place! A little tricky to find as it has a different name out the front, but trust Google Maps, MapsMe etc. it’s next to the pizza place down the end of a short narrow path. You enter into a great big dining area, where you can ask someone to checkin. Really nice rooftop. Very close and handy to the Medina. Secure parking nearby. Nice big breakfast provided. Beautiful building.
